Members Coalition
The Community Coalition is an interest-based group composed of organizations that share a common interest and bond around Caribbean community engagement. It is a platform for exchanging ideas and information and seeking solutions to common challenges. It works to develop programming and partnerships to advocate for and sustain the organizations.
Currently, there are 13 active organizations which forms the Community Coalition, which are:
Advocacy to Legacy, Caribbean American Society, Cricket Hall of Fame, Cultural Dance Troupe of the West Indies, Caribbean Cultural Heritage Alliance, Greater Hartford West Indian Lions Club, Jamaica Ex-Police Association, Jamaica Progressive League, New England Grand Lodge, Saint Lucian American Association of Hartford, Sportsmen’s Athletic Club, West Indian Foundation, West Indian Independence Celebration, and West Indian Social Club of Hartford, Inc.
Topics of interest are covered on Monday nights in a virtual environment, via Zoom.
